It was a mostly enjoyable watch. An oddly combination of great and stupid things.
There is too much of the "make your enemy into your ally" troupe by Teo, and there is also a serious amount of healthy medieval betrayal and political scheming among the other lords. Plus some military tactics and a lot of battles.
Romance is a big element of the story but, unfortunately, it's all a joke.
Alexis x Marine is a cheap plot device and lazy writing. They managed to get engaged and even brough their clans to respect their decision instead of waging war, but after the events of the EP1 they couldn't even talk freaking once? WTF is this charade?
Teo x Silka is never ever developed properly and there is nothing to say about them. At least Alexis x Marine got full episode about it. Leads got zilch, just a few little pieces scattered around.
Records of wars, intrigue and strategy. Involves military tactics and scheming.
A leader with an eye for strategy and very resourceful and capable advisers, warriors and followers.
Large army battles usually rendered in CG. Flashy skills and enhanced abilities. Magic.
