Yeah heartless might be a bit of a stretch but you know what I'm getting at. Emotionally engaging might be the best wording.
Especially the overall quality (especially the plot) of the last few seasons has been hitting rock bottom. Too many Ecchi shows and senseless shounen shows saw the day of light, and few were any good. Well, it's all up to one's taste.

Hmm... this club probably won't get many , but it might help if you add Kaleido Star to related anime and Satou Junichi to related creators. That way the club should show on the anime entry page under "Clubs" tab.

Heartless anime... I don't think there are that much, but all too few shows are this emotionally engaging. Aria is one, despite being way more peaceful. Maybe Full Moon and some sports shows too.

Rewatched it recently and loved it every bit as much as the first time. Unfortunately, many people aren't aware of this amazing career anime.
