This club is meant as the central discussion place for future ABGM.

An ABGM is a casual offline meeting of a handful of anidb s with the ultimate goal of world domination ... eh i mean having silly fun while endulging in board- and video games, watching bad movies and generally having a good time.

All ABGM have been documented with lots of videos and pictures. Access to these is given only people who have participated to at least 1 event. Every ABGM participant also gets a badge on his AniDB page he can show off to his friends.

another abgm concludes - successfully(?). it was fun as usual. thanks to chroniko for providing us a roof for our heads and some beds to sleep in also thanks also for all participants. see you some of you next year for mini abgm probably at my place and/or sweden!

And while the other doodle is still going ... lets start figuring out WHEN people actually MIGHT have time for this.

Obviously noone can know that he will have free time 5-10 months in advance but people at least should know already when they can't make it for sure. Stuff like work can always get in the way. But planning around some fixed dates if they are known early enough makes planning a lot easier.

Wlah wanted to check if he knows someone with a summer house in denmark.
And Chroniko mentioned that there might be a slight chance that we could go to Croatia again .. if we promise to behave this time .. and we sort out the money issue before then.

considering we are likely not to have a free stay in 2016 we are checking options to rent some place next year. before we can really do that though we need to check which countries actually are an option to people and after that which timeframe we are looking for.

Good question. Arrival friday evening, friday morning or thursday evening/night already?

In the cases of friday evening I wouldn't even have to take a day off. I could easily leave work at 13:30.

My preference is the end of October.

If more people want to come than there's places I can be the first one to be removed from the list.
