This show tries to be a hybrid of Saekano and Oregairu but it fails to deliver in an uncountable many ways. The one thing it truly delivers is a comedy, so it could be enjoyable if you like this specific type of humor and watch it just for laughs.
With every episode (AFAIK also with every LN volume) the story and characters gets more and more complicated and absurdly stupid.
My canonical version-that-explains-everything: the Cursed Bench-kun is an ultimate trickster playing evil jokes on mortals, transferring MC consciousness to an alternative gradually more unhinged universes every time MC dares to sit on him.

It was half enjoyable and half a pain, the overly complicated and extremely toxic relationships bothered me at times, but whenever I ed the kind of anime I was watching I was fine with it in the end. Joro was also annoying at the beginning. I must add btw, I've seen dozens, if not hundreds, of harem anime (and manga) and this anime is the first time that I'm not rooting for a single one of the girls (they're one of the reasons I found this anime half a pain)... I'm rooting for the male friend x'D SUN-CHUWAN! I'm a guy, and I'm not gay, ditch the girls and go with the bromance!

Turns out to be wayyy more amazing than my initial impression. Unique experience. "Too good to be true" kind of anime to the extreme, but FUCKING enjoyable. Everything just turns out satisfying every single time. Also the kind that can go from "so bad" to "great" depending on how good are you at SELECTIVELY turning off your brain -- because it seems the qualms people have with this is not even something I even consider at all lol.

If this anime had nothing more going for it, you could watch it for pure eye-candy. It is vivid and it pops. The characters are all very lovable and got all the stereotypes: nerd, sporty, sadist, tsundere... all of them pretty moe tho! The plot full of interesting takes on known topics. The MC is your usual kind-hearted, not-excel-at-anything, two-faced haremkeeper - this is nothing new and the normal let-down. Either way, you will definitely be entertained and perhaps even wanting a more serious approach to get eh.. further with.. Sun-chan!! Great fun. Recommended.

But at the same time, both have some of the most straightforward and "reliving" moments that totally caught you off guard (instead of dragging it out in most anime). Both have hidden actors with unknown motive, bad guy turned out to be good, and vice-versa.
Overall both can be a very low quality, but can be extremely fun watch.
