Never being able to touch the love of your life. It sounds depressing. But is it?
By concept alone, it is a semi-unique take on "Fantasy Romance". The main characters literally MAKE the show. Out of the two, one VASTLY outdoes the other.
The plot isn't amazing, but for what it is, it is simple, yet, IMPACTFUL. Some questions don't get answered, but with an existing season 2 and 3, that doesn't seem be a problem. The interactions between the two characters ARE the whole reason you, WILL want to watch this! Between the banter, ROMANTIC TENSION, surprise plot twists, the bittersweet moments, and its subtle fantasy, It is an EXCELLENT use of time.
Honestly not a bad STARTER if you want to delve into the "Fantasy-Romance Genre".
Tl;dr: Done right. Has great pacing. Leaves an impression. Watch it now.
